Lemon-Aid Skin Care Products was founded by Marie Crichlow, R.N. as a weekend hobby selling crystal nail files and nail cleaners. These are items that have to be demonstrated to each prospective customer in order to make the sale. It soon became apparent that there was no affordable solutions to the many skin care problems that were encountered. Marie's experience as a registered nurse became invaluable. She first developed her own body scrubs made with the purest sweet almond oil, essential lemon botanical oils, and either epson salt or sugar. She felt that she needed to develope products that could be sold under $20. and needed to be free of additives and dyes.

Through trial and error her formula worked on severe cases of skin irritations especially Eczema. She priced the scrubs at $16.00 which was far below any competitive product. Next she looked at aloe vera creams. She was shocked at the prices being charged. She developed her own Lemon Meringue Pie Aloe Vera Cream using the finest aloe vera and continuing to use lemon essential oils for its cleansing properties. She has since added creams and scrubs using orange, lime, lavender, peppermint, and vanilla essential oils. The creams have no Paraben or Formaldehyde preservatives.

A new line of anti-ageing products has recently been introduced containing Green Tea Extract. There is a Green Tea Sugar Scrub, a Green Tea & Tea Tree Oil Anti-Ageing Cream, and a Green Tea Anti-Wrinkle Cream. These products are $16 each, but there is an introductory kit of all three plus our Green Tea & Tea Tree Oil Complexion Soap for $40. We have also added the Ultimate Skin Care Kit which contains the Cucumber Face Jelly and a soft complexion scrub brush with the the basic kit. .
